Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living environments and a strong understanding of care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those with developmental disabilities, autism, and memory care needs.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including cooking and cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans designed to meet each client's specific needs.
• Provide patient observation to monitor changes in health or behavior and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities and autism through engaging activities that promote independence and well-being.
• Administer CPR and first aid as necessary, ensuring the safety and health of clients at all times.
• Foster a positive and supportive relationship with clients, encouraging their participation in daily routines.

Experience

• Previous experience in assisted living or caregiving roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with memory care practices is an asset.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and autism support strategies is highly desirable.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required or must be obtained upon hiring.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.48 - $19.03 per hour
