EVENT SALES ASSISTANT JOB SUMMARY:
Our Premier Catering Company is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Assistant to join our team! The Sales Assistant will, under the general direction of an Event Sales Manager, perform and coordinate administrative sales duties. If you are interested in working in a fast paced team environment for the premier event company in central Ohio we would love to hear from you!
EVENT SALES ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uphold company culture and philosophy
- Follow proper timekeeping policies and procedures
- Cover the reception area as needed
- Phone answering, screening calls and distributing messages
- Collect payment information, process payments and update payment information in Caterease
- Provide general administrative duties for the Sales Manager
- Maintain electronic and physical event files
- Create and update event folders
- BEO Meeting printing and preparation
- Make floor plans and update notes
- Scheduling and confirming appointments and meetings
- Create menu cards and food tags as needed
- Sending out all final BEO’s
- Assist in preparation and distribution of regularly scheduled reports
- Work with vendors to coordinate ordering and pick up of specialty items
- Attend meetings as requested
- Special projects
- Additional duties as necessary
EVENT SALES ASSISTANT SKILLS:
- 1 years of catering, sales or venue experience
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent team development
- Organized and assertive
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in related field
