Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and passengers safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of various driving environments, including commercial driving, paratransit, and shuttle services. The Driver will ensure compliance with all safety regulations while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods or passengers as required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight as necessary.
- Navigate various routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional service to passengers in paratransit or shuttle driving roles.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with paratransit or shuttle driving is a plus.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
