Job Overview:
Rusty Rental is seeking a Seasonal Yard Technician to join our team and support daily operations through October. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, keeping equipment clean and organized, and assisting customers in a fast-paced environment. Experience with skid steers, dingo's and other small equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operate yard equipment
- Clean, maintain, and organize rental equipment
- Load and unload equipment onto trailers or trucks
- Deliver and pick up parts and equipment locally
- Fuel machines and complete equipment checklists
- Take equipment photos and complete related paperwork
- Assist with equipment checkout and customer service
- Maintain yard and parking lot cleanliness (snow in winter, dust in summer)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year of general labor experience required
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in variable weather
- Basic computer/phone skills; Chrome/Windows proficiency preferred
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- 18 Years of age or older
Requirements:
- Pass a post-job-offer drug screen, physical, and background check (including MVR)
- Must be comfortable working outdoors on uneven terrain
