Job Description:

When you join our team as a receiver and stock employee, you will be responsible for stocking shelves (which will include the use of a step ladder), placing new items in an organized manner, refilling bulk bins which come in 25 pound bags, and front facing the items on the shelves to make a clean, presentable store. You will also be helping out our guests locate grocery items, provide information based on our selection and their dietary needs, and guide them to making healthier options for meals.

Job Description : To support the receiving and inventory of the stores incoming purchase item orders, to work effectively and cooperatively with the department team members, to represent the store in a professional manner, to demonstrate proficiency in customer care in regards to their orders and purchasing needs, to call in credits and report receiving issues to suppliers in a professional and timely manner, to to ensure the appearance and organization of the store’s shelves and displays, to ensure effective product placement, date checking and accuracy of pricing and tags. Essential Job Duties and expectations:

You must have strong

• Ensure the proper receiving of store inventory by checking dates, quality of packages, accuracy of orders and reconciliation of invoices.

• Ensure that products are received in good condition and call in credits for any missing or damaged items.

• Ensure careful handling of products especially when unpacking using sharp cutters.

• Maintain proper placement of products with correct tags to increase sales and reduce loss through overordering or shelf-life timelines.

• Regularly rotate first-in/first out organization of shelved items and displays.

• Ensure proper date checking of all grocery

• Maintain proper alignment of correct tags with assigned products and placements.

• Regular practice of front facing and downstocking and front face neighboring items when shelving items.

• Follow lead’s direction in resetting displays and shelving.

• Maintaining a careful handling of products to avoid daming products and packaging especially using sharp tools to unbox and when placing products in deep freezers

• Ensuring that items are priced correctly in the system before calling customers to pick up orders.

• Notify management of ordering needs and inventory concerns to assist the management team in increasing sales goals and reviewing customer needs.

• Maintain a knowledge of products and product placements.

• Maintain shelving of products to full capacity for customer access.

• Ensure that the overstock items are aligned with stock placement.

Maintain professionalism and customer service of the department and the store including, but not limited to: supporting customers grocery and produce needs regular downstocking, front facing, stocking received supplement inventory checking tags and labels for tag accuracy weekly date checking ensuring that all items have accurate and clearly displayed price tags ensuring that shelves are straight, orderly, and attractive to customers being mindful of sales goals circulating regularly through the aisles monitoring customers to assist them with their supplement needs as well as to deter potential theft or breakage of products upselling and/or pairing products to encourage customers to maximize the benefits of their purchases answering phone calls in a professional and helpful manner filling customer online or phone orders.

Other duties may include:

• Covering at the Customer Service counter when needed.

• Be able to support the store’s needs in other departments when necessary.

• Ensuring channels of communication between management and supplements department.

• Any other duties that may need to be covered or supported during a shift vacancy

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize new inventory
• Keep sales floor and backroom clean, orderly and free from safety hazards; report faulty equipment and hazards to management.
• Stock shelves and rotate product properly to guarantee fresh product is available for the customers
• Remove and break down empty boxes
• Lift and carry cases and bags that weigh from 10 lbs up to 50 lbs
• Pulling from overstock to keep shelves filled for customers
• Check dates to ensure customers get the freshest products available
• Assist with customer service as needed (i.e., cashier, answering phones, etc)
• Collaborate with team members and communicates relevant information to store management
• Other duties as assigned

• Be knowledgeable of health food and care about health and wellness for our customers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to help customers
• 2 years of experience in a retail environment preferred
• Possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail
