Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in New Brunswick, NJ for a Cognitive Neurologist, Geriatrician, or Geriatric Psychiatrist. The role involves diagnosing and treating patients with cognitive disorders including mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, and dementia with Lewy bodies. We are a biomaker-driven academic practice, with ample opportunities to take part in clinical research. We are located in the brand new, state-of-the-art Ambulatory Medical Pavillion together wirh Neurosurgery, ENT, and Speech Pathology. The Cogntive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Clinic currently has two Cognitive Neurologists, two Geriatricians, two Neuropsychologists, and one doctorate-level nurse practitoner.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Cognitive Neurology, Geriatric Psychiatey, or Geriatrics
- Board certification in Neurology or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience working with geriatric patient populations
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Candidates with experience in clinical research, clinical trials, or anti-amyloid disease modifying therapies are highly encouraged to apply
