Job Overview
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care within the Neurosurgery department. This position is responsible for performing duties independently, following established and standardized procedures and methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing acute care through assessment, diagnosis, clinical judgment, and management to restore, maintain, and improve patients' health status.
- Reporting identified safety issues, such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Implementing policies and procedures of the practice while maintaining a strong focus on quality performance.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must possess current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey or be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of New Jersey.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inpatient, acute care, and neurosurgery settings.
- Certifications in CDS, DEA, BLS, and ACLS are required.
- RNFA Certification is also necessary.
