Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their orders, providing menu recommendations and answering questions about food items.
- Operate the Micros POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including bussing tables and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
Experience
- Previous fine dining experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and fine dining service is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Experience with sales techniques to upsell menu items is beneficial.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
