Rutland Public SchoolsAcademic Tutor (x 3) Grant funded- This position will support students to improve academic success by providing academic assistance and targeted instruction in the areas of literacy and mathematics. This position will involve working with students individually and/or in small groups. It will include communicating with core teachers, team members, and administrators. Tutors will be asked to monitor the progress of students on specific goals and proficiencies.
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in math and literacy and those with experience working with elementary students.Tutors will work up to 15 hours per week. Vermont educators licensure is desirable. Positions to begin immediately.
