Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union is seeking dynamic, and experienced candidates to fill the role of the Data Manager. The Data Manager enables data-informed decision-making by collecting, preparing, and analyzing district data sets. This position is critical in coordinating and supporting RNESU data systems to ensure seamless administrative and operational efficiency across the District..
This role is responsible for maintaining system-wide and school-level data integrity, while also developing, implementing, and evaluating the supervisory union’s long-term strategy for integrating data systems into both instructional and administrative programs. Additionally, it provides leadership, training, and support to campus staff responsible for data entry and oversight, ensuring alignment with district goals and stepping in as a backup resource when necessary.
Rutland Northeast serves approximately 1500 students preK-12 and comprises two member districts, Barstow Unified Union School District (BUUSD) and Otter Valley Unified Union School District (OVUUSD). BUUSD operates one PreK-8 school and offers high school choice for the towns of Chittenden and Mendon. OVUUSD operates three PreK-6 schools and one Union High School for the towns of Brandon, Goshen, Leicester, Pittsford, Sudbury and Whiting. All eight towns are quintessential New England towns situated between Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains.
The successful candidate must possess:
A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in data management or an equivalent industry certification for data management preferred.
Three or more years of experience in data management, data analysis, data mining/business intelligence, and data warehousing
Education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
Experience in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products is essential.
Experience implementing data sync API’s between hosted data systems.
Knowledge of MS-SQL server, T-SQL, Tableau, or Microsoft BI is highly recommended.
A valid VT Driver’s License is required.
Relevant job-related professional certifications preferred.
