Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union si accepting application for a he Department of Technology Junior Intern to support through the summer months.
The intern works on various tasks at the direction of the Director of Technology to assist technology staff with a variety of tasks. The technologist for a particular building will be responsible for the daily supervision of the Junior Intern. The schedule for the Junior Intern will be determined in conjunction with the Director of Technology. Travel is required to all schools, and the Central Office. The Junior Intern schedule will be set on an as-needed basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The primary objective of the Junior Intern is to assist the district in documenting, deploying, and maintaining our technology. Specifically, the Junior Intern will be responsible for documenting systems, and maintain an accurate inventory, preparing machines for deployment to the field, and working to ensure that all devices are currently updated and maintained. Work on these tasks will be done at all schools and the central office.
The Junior Intern supports the technology staff with their daily tasks and/or projects. This will require hands-on work with devices, as well as, lifting and moving equipment as needed.
The Junior Intern may be required to participate in other technology projects. This may require research on the web, communicating with faculty and staff, and documentation related to technology.
Additional job responsibilities:
The Junior Intern is expected to cover the cost of travel to District locations. However, the Junior Intern may be reimbursed for travel to a secondary location on a specific day. All travel claims must be submitted monthly and approved by the Director of Technology.
The Junior Intern will be expected to complete Work Claim forms for their time for reimbursement, and submit them to the Director of Technology in a timely manner.
The Junior Intern may not exceed 20 hours of work per week without prior approval from the Director of Technology.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma
Current or previous course of study in technology at the university level
