What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Resource Lead position at Rutland Regional Medical Center?
The House Resource Lead is responsible for the operations of patient flow and provision of patient care utilizing the nursing process. The House Resource Lead collaborates with physicians, nursing leaders, relief charge unit RN’s, ancillary departments, and outside agencies to ensure timely and clinically sound patient placement. The House Resource Lead operationalizes the objectives, policies, and procedures of the Medical Center and Clinical Services, assumes accountability but not limited to, patient flow, appropriate staffing, assignment of care, and staff development. In the absence of formal leadership, this position may be required to make decisions based on patient placement or department staffing.
Minimum Education
- Graduate of approved school of nursing.
- BSN preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
- Two years of clinical experience preferred.
- Leadership experience preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Licensed in the State of Vermont.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Clinical nursing skills.
- Leadership skills and abilities.
- Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
Pay Range = $40.07 - $59.23
