Job Summary
The Radiology Technologist will perform imaging procedures using general radiographic equipment and expand their skill set into other modalities. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures using general radiographic equipment
- Expand skill set into other modalities such as Interventional Radiology, Mammography, CT, MRI, and Bone Density
- Recognize general radiography anatomy and provide accurate diagnoses
- Comply with hospital policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved and accredited Radiology Technology program
- Recent hospital-related experience
- Digital Imaging and post-processing PACS experience
- ARRT Certified
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment
Salary Range: $25.99 - $38.42
