A strategic manufacturing expert is needed to optimize high-volume steel fabrication across multiple locations. The leader will oversee stamping, welding, and shear/punch forming while driving efficiency, quality, and smart CapEx investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence in steel parts fabrication, ensuring the right parts are built in the right places while optimizing equipment, leadership, and production strategies for maximum efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Evaluate leadership teams, orchestrating large-scale CapEx investments, consolidating operations where necessary, and ensuring standardized equipment and maintenance practices across all facilities.
- Implement lean manufacturing, automation, and process improvements to increase output, minimize waste, and optimize costs.
- Analyze the parts portfolio, identifying where to increase pricing, discontinue low-margin parts, or shift production locations.
- Enhance quality assurance processes to ensure best-in-class product durability, precision, and consistency.
- Manage multi-million-dollar fabrication budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and high return on investment.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience leading large-scale steel fabrication operations, with expertise in stamping, welding, and shear/punch forming.
- Proven ability to assess leadership, optimize production footprints, and implement process efficiencies.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar CapEx budgets, standardizing equipment, and driving strategic manufacturing improvements.
