Job Details
Description
- Receive all packages as soon as signed for, assign to work order and ensure the correct department receives the part
- Inspect all deliveries, annotate any damage, shortage or discrepancies, accept or reject packages per manufacture/vendor policies.
- Notify manager and department when package/crate is damaged/rejected.
- Use dealership system to update inventory, and get part to the correct bin location
- Keep store management updated on status of orders and parts
Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Six months of shipping and receiving experience
- Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
- Ability to use parts department computer system and calculator.
- Excellent oral and in written communication skills
- Ability to operate an automobile.
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
