Statement of Work Summary: Lead Engineering Assistant - Accomplish surveys and translate collected GPS data into AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 for each survey or project. Ensure that GIS data is available to initial design projects and confirms GIS data for projects entering final design. This discipline may be required to travel to areas in the local area outside of the military installation to verify design requirements and quality of work being performed. This discipline shall be responsible for accurately accounting and validating air field obstructions annually. Provide feedback to engineers during the design process on constructability and maintainability of projects. Create architectural, electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil design drawings using AutoCAD and be knowledgeable in engineering tables, plans, and specifications. Be capable of accepting engineering concept sketches, existing redlined drawings, and schematics to prepare detailed finished drawings. Work with the 380th Expeditionary Communications Squadron to install, maintain, operate, and troubleshoot large format plotters. Effectively manage AutoCAD Technicians.
Please note this position must be US National with Existing Secret Clearance or National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is preferred. Ability to obtain NACI or Secret Clearance is required for all personnel without Active Clearance or NACI record.
