RV Park Management (“RVPM”) is a property management company in the RV park industry. Our goal is to provide outstanding RV park management support and services, assist park proprietors, and implement solid solutions for RV park owners. We strive to grow park revenue, while keeping an eye on improving the bottom line. We serve our clients by serving our guests and teammates. Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled bartender who can also create memorable experiences for our guests. “Lounge@TQ,” located inside Terraqueous RV Resort in Blanco, TX, welcomes visitors and locals as a place to relax, enjoy a craft cocktail or favorite brew with poolside views in a laid-back atmosphere. The space has great potential for engaging events to increase patronage. This role is perfect for someone to come in and create a warm, inviting space where guests feel welcome and part of the RV park community. The ideal candidate may be someone who has worked for a larger establishment who can leverage that experience on a smaller scale in a more low-key environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Bartending – Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. Bar closes at 9pm.

  • Greet and engage guests, take orders, and make personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with exceptional customer service.
  • Foster relationships with park guests to encourage repeat visits and promote guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in working order.
  • Open and close the bar till, process payments, and manage the cash register efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to ensure the bar is fully stocked.
  • Restock and maintain inventory records.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and serving best practices.
  • Must be TABC certified.

Event Planning & Promotion – 1-2 shifts per week, flexible.

  • Plan and schedule fun and engaging events such as happy hours, live music nights, theme parties, and more to attract park guests and increase patronage.
  • Actively promote events and daily specials through social media and on-site marketing including signage and flyers.
  • Work with Park Manager to develop creative promotions that align with Lounge@TQ’s laid-back, fun atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • TABC certification required.
  • Prior experience as a bartender is required, no bar training available.
  • Similar experience at a resort/outdoor property with a bar is helpful.
  • Event planning, coordinating, or similar experience is strongly desired.
  • A sales mindset with the ability to conceive and implement ideas to increase guest patronage and engagement.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Passion for community-building and creating memorable guest experiences.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds, lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Capable of moving safely over uneven terrain.
