Job Summary:
We are seeking guest experience-oriented individuals to join our team as a Concession Stand Worker for our busy concession stand in Terraqueous RV Resort. This is a great part-time, seasonal opportunity (March 10 - October 5) for individuals looking to work in a fun environment. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with food and beverage preparation and service, and ensure a clean and organized concession area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Operate the cash register and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare and serve food and non-alcoholic beverages,
- TABC certified workers may serve alcoholic drinks in compliance with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) guidelines).
- Check customer identification when serving alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
- Stock and replenish concession stand supplies, including snacks, drinks, and condiments.
- Maintain a clean and organized concession stand, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
- Monitor product freshness and discard expired items.
- Assist with basic food prep, including heating pre-prepared items and assembling orders.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations, as well as local alcohol service laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service, food service, or cash-handling experience preferred.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash/card transactions.
- TABC certification (or willingness to obtain before the start date) is required for individuals who will serve alcoholic beverages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 15 pounds, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
