Job Summary:
We're currently hiring in Upstate New York! RVPM Park Managers provide a resort-level service, always striving to exceed expectations for RV park guests. The Park Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the park, including guest services, overseeing maintenance, and managing the budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily park operations to ensure the park provides a consistently safe, clean, and enjoyable guest experience.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective measures while maintaining high standards of guest services.
- Ensure that park facilities and equipment are properly maintained and repaired promptly.
- Manage the park's reservations, check-in, and check-out processes, ensuring smooth guest experiences.
- Lead by example with a proactive stance on safety protocols and efficient park operations.
- Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Area Manager as needed.
- Maintain documentation of park activities, staff concerns, and all information related to smooth and efficient park operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of management experience in RV park operations or a related field.
- Full-time RVer ready to relocate and live on-site.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with experience working in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment.
- Proficiency in budget management preferred.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to RV parks.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be certified, or willing to get certified, to dispense propane.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb as required.
- Able to work outdoors frequently and in various weather conditions.
Depending on the client, the incumbent may or may not be required to live on-site at the park they manage. Additional requirements may apply if required to reside at our property.
