Nanny/Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, including working with children with disabilities, and will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily activities while ensuring the well-being of the children.

Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
• Provide attentive care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and meal preparation spaces.
• Assist with educational activities, encouraging curiosity and creativity through play.
• Support children with special needs by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns that may arise.
• Foster a positive relationship with children to build trust and encourage open communication.

Requirements

• Proven experience in babysitting or nannying, with references available upon request.
• Familiarity with childcare practices, including toddler care and meal preparation.
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and backgrounds, including those with disabilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining a clean environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents.
• A nurturing attitude combined with the ability to educate through play and structured activities.
• First aid and CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Billy has came to work with me since he was just 14days old. He’s getting a bit bigger now and is 4 months old. I knew before he was born I would come to the understanding I would need assistance with him and so here I am! In order to continue to grow I could use some assistance. I’m looking for a nanny to ride with us and have a private nursery within my business to care with/for my son while I handle my many tasks that are now becoming a bit more challenging to accomplish as my boy deserves much attention. I would like nothing but the best for my son for that is what I am to him and he is for me. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
