Job Summary :
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's financial obligations and ensuring that all payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.

Duties / Responsibilities :
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and process payments, including check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and ensure timely filing of documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
- Manage relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries regarding payments, terms, and account statuses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor aging accounts payable reports and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Prepare and submit tax-related forms (e.g., 1099s) as required by law.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information.
