What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Designer / Architect position at RVK Architecture?
As a landscape designer or landscape architect, you will provide design assistance for the landscape architecture team on a range of projects, from small church projects to campus headquarters and public parks.
Responsibilities
» Set up and prepare drawings for projects in AutoCAD
» Communicate with team leaders for projects
» Prepare planting plans in Land F/X
» Manage time efficiently
» Coordinate with consultants
» Other duties as assigned Experience Required
» Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in landscape architecture and zero to five years of work experience in the field of landscape architecture
Skills and Qualifications
» Excellent written and oral communication skills
» Working towards licensure is preferred and encouraged
» Ability to work, collaborate, and remain supportive within a team environment that is subject to frequent updates and demanding business needs
» Ability to work independently or with limited supervision
» Familiarity with planting design for Central Texas
» Knowledge of native and adapted plants and water-conscious plantings
» AutoCAD and Land F/X proficient
» Ability to interpret and implement municipal regulations
