Position Overview

The Account Development Manager (“ADM”) is responsible for driving significant and sustainable growth of the Upneeq® brand within targeted specialties including but not limited to: Medical Spas, Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Optometry. The ADM will utilize a hybrid selling model approach with practices and staff in their defined territory focusing on the integration and growth of Upneeq®. The ADM will also be expected to effectively develop and manage customer and account business relationships, conducting comprehensive business assessments of practices and developing impactful business plans for training and growth. As a member of the sales team, the ADM will work closely with the VP of Sales & Professional Strategy, Inside Sales Representatives (“ISRs”), and other colleagues throughout the Commercial organization to achieve specific area and corporate objectives.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ability to achieve all sales deliverables related to sales targets within specified territory.
  • Utilize consultative sales approach to effectively educate customers across hybrid selling environment.
  • Conduct comprehensive business assessments with sales targets to build and accelerate account growth.
  • Develop territory action plans utilizing S.M.A.R.T principles, to include education on science, sales messaging, social media initiatives, and provide selling skills for office staff.
  • Apply business building principles related to successful revenue generating approaches that contribute towards product integration.
  • Utilize market knowledge and product differentiation when setting strategic goals across the territory.
  • Coordinate and deliver physician training programs and practice in-service events.
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of the product set offering unique selling points and demonstrating ability to overcome objections.
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in technical skills and computer proficiency when engaging with HCPs.
  • Educate accounts about the value proposition of RVL’s first of its kind e-commerce portal, Elevate, and partner throughout the registration, onboarding and business maintenance process.
  • Effectively support clients with business requests providing tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with sales and commercial team to identify growth opportunities aligning to monthly and quarterly business initiatives.
  • Monitor territory sales forecasts and activity (e.g. monthly, quarterly sales results, annual forecasts) providing timely updates on status as required.
  • Actively participate and contribute towards national team calls and organizational business updates.
  • Abide by the Corporate Code of Conduct and Business Ethics and all Company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all administrative requirements (e.g. expense reporting, call reporting, and business planning).

Experience And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college/university required
  • 3 or more years of documented sales success in a pharmaceutical, medical aesthetics or business-to-business sales role
  • Successful demonstration of selling capabilities in a hybrid selling environment
  • Experience managing target lists, account mapping and total office call initiatives to drive brand awareness and impact
  • Demonstrated command of business and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in account development and maintaining strong, positive, ethical customer relationships with client-focused solutions
  • Ability to analyze and manage expenditures that conform to budgetary requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Ability to thrive in a culture that is performance based, fast paced, and results-oriented
  • Highly proficient technical and computer skills, including MS Office / MS Teams, sales database and web-based applications
  • Proven experience in learning and utilizing new technology
  • Ability to travel up to 4 days/week within assigned geography for customer meetings
  • Ability to travel to business meetings or conferences which may include overnight and/or weekend travel
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
