Job Description:
RRH Rochester General Hospital is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress, treatments, and responses accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active LPN license in New York State (or eligibility for licensure).
- Experience: Previous LPN experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS/CPR certification (required or must be obtained upon hire).
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
