Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson in Anderson, IN. As an ICU RN, you will provide direct and specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring the highest level of medical and emotional support.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding to rapid changes in condition.
- Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments per physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum 1-2 years of ICU experience required.
- BLS & ACLS certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
