Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg Telemetry for a night shift position at Saint Francis Medical Hospital in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience in monitoring telemetry patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on post-hospital care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Connecticut (or compact state license).
- Minimum Experience in Medical-surgical.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
