Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Adventist Health Glendale.
This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, be a team player, and be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Educate patients and families on post-hospital care plans Maintain accurate medical records and follow facility protocols Requirements: Active RN license in the state of California Minimum 1-2 years of Med Surg experience (hospital setting preferred) BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
