Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Pay: $30–$33/hour (Based on experience & local traveler status)
Job Description:
Trinity Health Oakland Hospital is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate, inspect, and assemble surgical instruments following established protocols.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
- Perform biological and chemical tests to verify sterilization effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures and equipment usage.
- Ensure timely delivery of sterile instruments to operating rooms and other hospital departments.
- Adhere to hospital infection control and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Certification: CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
Job Types: Contract, Travel nursing
Pay: $31.77 - $33.36 per hour
