Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team in Topeka, KS. As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and readiness of surgical instruments and medical equipment, contributing directly to patient safety and successful healthcare outcomes.

Shift:

• Monday through Friday
• 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Evening Shift)

Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washers, etc.)
• Ensure accurate documentation and inventory of instruments and supplies
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to meet daily instrumentation needs

Requirements:

• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) certification – Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous sterile processing experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
