RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assembly of Mechanical Components: Assemble and install mechanical parts and components according to
blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Operate Machinery: Safely operate production machinery and tools such as drills, grinders, and other
mechanical equipment to perform assigned tasks.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
and specifications.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues during the production process, making
necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including engineers and other production sta, to achieve
production goals and resolve issues promptly.
  • Adherence to Safety Guidelines: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working
environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory counts, production
logs, and quality control reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback on
procedures and suggesting eciency enhancements.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical Background: High school diploma or equivalent with a strong mechanical aptitude or vocational
training in a related field.
  • Electrical Engineering: Basic understanding of electrical systems is preferred; formal education or training in
electrical engineering would be an added advantage.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, reading technical drawings, and understanding
mechanical assembly processes.
  • Physical Capabilities:
  • Ability to lift at least 60 pounds: The role requires the physical capability to lift and move heavy
mechanical components.
  • Endurance for prolonged standing: The candidate should be comfortable standing for extended
periods during the production process.
  • Manual Dexterity: Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work with a focus on
precision and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate eectively with colleagues
and superiors.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing production needs and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Enjoyment of Hands-On Work: A genuine interest and enjoyment in working with hands, assembling
components, and contributing to the production process.
  • Power Tool Usage: Proficient in the safe and eective use of various hand and power tools commonly used
in mechanical assembly.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and commitment to safety protocols and guidelines


EXPERIENCE

  • Previous Manufacturing Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or
production setting.
  • Mechanical Assembly Experience: Proven experience in assembling mechanical components and systems
according to specifications.
  • Machinery Operation: Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain production machinery and tools such as
drills, grinders, and other mechanical equipment is preferred.
  • Quality Control: Experience in conducting thorough inspections of finished products to ensure compliance
with quality standards is preferred.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Experience in identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues during the
production process, with a track record of making effective adjustments is preferred.
  • Collaboration: Previous experience working collaboratively with team members, including engineers and
other production sta, to achieve production goals and resolve issues.
  • Record Keeping: Proven ability to maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory
counts, production logs, and quality control reports.
