Working within the yearly sales action plan guidelines, the Account Manager is responsible for the overall sales activities that result in growth in patient volume and increased revenue. Activities will include membership in local networking and client advocacy groups and ongoing relationship building with area health care providers while adhering to the sales and marketing budget

Responsibilities
- Work within the Business Development/Provider Relations Team to enhance awareness of RVNAhealth's individual service lines and community programs among all strategic referral sources.
- Follow the monthly sales action plan and conduct sales calls to referral sources, which result in increased referrals, admissions and revenue to the agency, as outlined in the sales incentive metrics. Act as single point of contact for your referral sources including regular dates/times to discuss/obtain referrals and follow thru until facility discharge documents are received.
- Identify and evaluate RVNAhealth's strengths and competitive edge as compared to other home health and home care agencies and collaborate in developing appropriate action steps to effectively sell against the competition.
- Provide in-service presentations to appropriate staff to increase customer service and maximize the agency's team approach.
- Manage RVNAhealth's transitional care process as patients discharge home with a comprehensive plan of care.
- Follow established patients admitted to hospitals and skilled nursing facilities to ensure the patient, if appropriate, is referred back to RVNAHealth.
- Assist to secure and promote beneficial community programs including flu clinics and other medical and non-medical programs.
- Present to and/or join community groups to enhance awareness of RVNAhealth's service offerings. Represent the agency at area fairs/events with booth exhibits, as appropriate.
- Knowledgeable and compliant with all agency and regulatory procedures including but not limited to Corporate Compliance, HIPAA and Medicare conditions of participation.
- Minimum two years experience in health care.
- Demonstrates the ability to increase community awareness and promote the agency's programs and services.
- Demonstrates the ability to implement a successful sales action plan with account specific goals and conduct successful sales calls to increase referral volume.
- Ability to create and distribute written marketing materials appropriate to the sales and marketing plans.
- Ability to represent the Agency in a professional manner through all written and verbal communications.
- Knowledgeable in Aging in Place program.
- Demonstrated ability to increase community awareness and promote services.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful daily/weekly sales action plans and conduct successful sales calls.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated individual and able to produce results, working independently and as a team member.
- Ability to work under-pressure.
- Works well with people from various backgrounds and professions.
- Skillful in Microsoft office computer software and internet research. Experience with CRM (client relations management) software preferred.
- Ability to travel throughout Fairfield County, CT.
