• Manage billing and collections for medical transportation services rendered by RVNU EMS’s ambulance-agency clients to nursing homes and hospitals

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels

• Maintain high accuracy and integrity in billing and reporting

Responsibilities

• Generate, submit, and track monthly ambulance bills for medical transportation services

• Review and audit bills to ensure accuracy of rates and billing details

• Enter trip and service information into the billing system

• Contact facility representatives (phone, email, text) to collect unpaid balances

• Identify correct billing contacts to facilitate prompt payment

• Document disputes or partial payments in the CRM and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues

• Send regular statements of open balances to assigned accounts

• Monitor aging reports and inform management of outstanding balances

• Educate facility stakeholders on strategies to reduce monthly ambulance bills

• Coordinate with intake, billing, customer relations, and management teams to resolve billing concerns

• Run and share relevant billing and payment reports with facilities and other stakeholders

• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude with technology

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and accountability

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Prior experience in collections, billing, or customer service is a plus (but not required)
