.Job Description: As a BIM Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and technologies. You will work closely with our project teams to create, manage, and maintain accurate and detailed BIM models that support our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain BIM models for various construction projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of BIM models.
- Assist in the coordination and integration of BIM models with other project documentation.
- Address clash detection reports and resolve conflicts within BIM models.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Autodesk Revit experience is an absolute must.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to visit job sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Recap
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical pipe and/or plumbing industry practices.
- Mechanical/plumbing engineering experience.
- 3D laser scanning, scan-to-BIM, and robotic total station layout.
