Summary
The real estate acquisitions agent is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring single family residential properties that align with the company’s investment strategies. This role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to analyze potential deals. The acquisitions agent will work closely with the management team to expand the company’s portfolio and meet acquisition goals.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Utilize various channels (MLS, networking, online platforms) to source new deals.
- Analyze market trends, property values, and neighborhood demographics.
- Perform financial analysis and property valuation to assess the profitability of potential acquisitions.
- Negotiate purchase agreements, contracts, and terms with sellers, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure favorable terms that align with company goals and maximize return on investment.
- Coordinate and manage the due diligence process, including property inspections, title reviews, and environmental assessments.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, agents, property owners, and other industry professionals.
- Attending industry events and networking opportunities to expand professional contacts.
- Oversee the closing process, ensuring timely and accurate execution of contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
