Materials and Re-Claim Handler/Oil Chip Extractor
First Shift: 7am-3pm, M-F
Hourly wage: $16.00/hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to:
- Gather chip carts from production machinery and scrap bar ends.
- Load bar ends into designated scrap containers
- Load chips into machinery to separate oil/coolant from metal
- Assures different materials are kept separate and clearly identified.
- Assures materials are prepared for pick up by outside scrap contractor.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and keep the work area clean and free of any safety hazards.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and walk frequently throughout the 4-acre facility.
- Work with heavily oiled chip metal materials
- Ability to include but not limited to grasp, grip, pinch, wrist flex/extension, operate foot controls, reach, bend, stoop, squat, twist, stair climb, balance, push, pull, and carry; stand/walk constantly and bend frequently
Preferred:
- High school or equivalent
- Forklift driver or willingness to obtain certification
- Good driving record
- Problem Solving skills
- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory transactions
