The Senior Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist will play a pivotal role in recruiting top talent within the RIA industry while providing critical HR support across various functions. This role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process, enhancing the employee experience, developing HR procedures, and ensuring compliance within a highly regulated industry. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in sourcing and hiring financial professionals with a foundation in HR best practices.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (60%)
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $125,000.00. Final base compensation will be carefully determined based on several factors including relevant knowledge, skillset, and experience. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as discretionary bonus, health, dental, and vision plans, and employer 401(k) contributions.

Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (60%)
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract top-tier talent for specialized RIA roles, including Wealth Advisors, Investment Analysts, Client Service Representatives, Operations, Tax Accountants, Portfolio Managers, etc.
- Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs, create accurate job descriptions, and establish clear recruitment processes.
- Source candidates through various channels, including networking, sourcing, referrals, job boards, social media, and industry-specific events.
- Conduct thorough screening, interviewing, and assessment processes to ensure alignment with company culture and job requirements.
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
- Maintain and enhance the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline the hiring process and track key recruitment metrics.
- Build strong relationships with external recruiters, industry networks, and professional organizations to enhance sourcing efforts.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment processes and optimize talent acquisition strategies.
- Support onboarding and orientation processes to ensure successful integration of new hires within the RIA firm.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR procedures in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as RIA-specific guidelines.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance employee engagement, retention strategies, and professional development programs.
- Assist with employee offboarding to ensure all tickets are closed in a timely manner.
- Assist with training and development of managers and employees based on specified topics of interest.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for strategic planning and compliance audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in talent acquisition and HR, with a strong preference for experience within the RIA or financial services industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in recruiting for roles such as Financial Advisors, Client Service Representatives, Tax Accountants, Portfolio Managers, etc.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) or recruitment certification (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter).
- Experience with HR analytics and reporting.
- Familiarity with industry-specific recruitment platforms and networking groups.
