Job Title: Industrial Electrician - Direct Air Capture Plant Construction
Location: West Odessa, TX
Pay: Range $36-40
Per diem: $110
Hours: 50 *Day or Night Shift availability required*
Description:
We're currently seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team for the construction of a Direct Air Capture (DAC) plant in Notrees TX
Responsibilities:
- Utilize a variety of tools including hacksaws, pipe threaders, and conduit benders to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
- Install control and distribution apparatus, including switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, securing them in place with screws or bolts using hand or power tools.
- Conduct tests to ensure the continuity of circuits, verifying electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as ohmmeters, batteries, buzzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Monitor the functionality of installed equipment or systems, identifying any hazards and assessing the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Perform disassembly and repair tasks on defective electrical equipment or systems as necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in construction or manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in fabricating and installing various types of conduit, including rigid & aluminum, E.M.T., plasti-bond, and P.V.C.
- Experience with mechanical and hydraulic benders, ranging from 2” to 4”, and ability to fabricate and install conduit supports.
- Skilled in wire and cable installation by hand, machine, and in cable trays, ensuring proper routing and organization.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards relevant to industrial construction projects.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
