A successful recruiter is able to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the company’s recruiting strategy
- Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, software programs, recruiting platforms, social media, etc
- Filtering candidates and conducting interviews for open positions
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitude
- Growing a strong talent pipeline
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Onboarding new employees
- Provide analytical recruiting reports to the management team
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Background in Human Resources and Recruiting
- Experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates
- 3-5 years of work experience as a recruiter (Oil & Gas or Trade recruiting preferred)
- Strong ability to schedule, conduct, and follow up on interviews
- Hands on experience with recruiting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
