is looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead our construction projects located throughout the Florida Region. This position requires the candidate to lead construction efforts and monitor the progression of schedules with frequent onsite check-ins.Become familiar with and understand plans, specifications, site, local codes, local officials and inspection proceduresCoordinate and maintain construction schedules to ensure projects are being completed according to drawings and specsEnsures quality standards are being met throughout the projectConduct meetings with subcontractor representatives of the project on a daily and / or weekly basis to schedule and coordinate construction activitiesEnsure materials are delivered to construction sites according to construction schedulesWork with owners, owner’s reps, architects and subcontractors to resolve any conflicts that may arise and communicate any such conflicts immediately to the Project ManagerMaintain daily logs, progress photographs and weekly reportsComplete and submit all paperwork as requiredAttend job meetings and / or any other meetings as may be required for the successful and timely completion of the project(s)Schedule and attend all required inspectionsCompile and schedule punch list items for completion as well as coordinate project closeoutsRequirements5-10 years of experience as a SuperintendentMUST HAVE GROUND UP EXPERIENCEMust currently create an initial schedule for the project and review weekly with sub contractors, PMs, and all StakeholdersMust possess strong technical, communication and computer skills, including competency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Dropbox and document management systemsKnowledge of safety procedures, regulations and codesLocal and National travel is required for this positionIdeal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas : ground-up construction, additions, interior remodels, design build, carpentryBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLife and
