The Senior Associate, Business Applications will be responsible for coordinating with the business to analyze, design, and implement business solutions that support the company's strategic goals. The Sr. Associate will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and testers to ensure that the requirements are clear, feasible, and aligned with the business needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. They will also provide technical support, documentation, and training for IT systems and applications. The applicant must have the ability to perform tasks independently and / or with minimum guidance, and to take a leadership role in the software development life cycle to ensure project tasks are completed. This includes business use case analysis, designing or selecting the application, stakeholder communication, testing the application, deploying and documenting the solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Management & Support of the migration of a suite of critical products required for the management of RWE Clean Energy business activities by Dec 31, 2025
- Partner with business representatives to understand, define and achieve system goals, enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Create functional specifications, use cases, user stories, wireframes, and other artifacts that describe the desired features and functionalities of the IT systems and applications
- Drive the execution of projects, ensuring that all deliverables are tracked and completed on time and within budget
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Implement proposed software solutions that align with the business requirements and specifications of our company
- Collaborate with IT leadership on the management of the demand and incident queues, program management and project budgets
- Assist with IT demand management process by prioritizing project requests, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Maintain and update the documentation and knowledge base of the IT systems and applications
- Develop documents, presentations & dashboards to effectively communicate requirements and project status to relevant stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS :
Pay range : The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $92,000 - $137,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
