The Digital Operations Intern will assist the Digital Operations department in providing useful information to various Operations & Asset Management teams. This position is focused on Data Visualization. Specific projects will involve providing data from Pi through PiVision and other tools to various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Further Data Visualization capabilities of the fleet and control center by understanding the availability of fleet data and the needs of the business.
- Develop displays in PI Vision to help streamline monitoring capabilities of the generation resources.
- Develop event reporting automation to provide notification of events to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and execute scheduled and ad-hoc data reporting to assist in preparing various reports.
- Develop real-time and scheduled commercial data analysis and reporting to control center and field personnel.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of databases and data visualization.
- Ability to work independently and develop solutions to roadblocks with minimal oversight.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders according to their preferred communication styles.
- Experience with working within a structured project group as a contributor or coordinator.
- Able to work in the Austin office with the team for a minimum of 10 hours a week with a preference of 20 hours
