The Manager, HSSE Assurance will own the RWECE HSSE Assurance and Development Programs across the RWECE High Risk contractors base. The role will work cross-functionally with contractors, Procurement, and Operations teams to establish tools and processess for contractor selection, assurance, performance and development. This role will ensure sourced contractors meet our expectations, are effectively onboarded, that their performance is monitored on key metrics, and that they contribute to RWE Clean Energy's efforts toward being a preeminent player in the renewable energy industry and a client of choice.
Role Responsibilities :
- Build and develop RWECE Strategy for Contractor HSSE assurance and development
- Develop a deep working relationship and collaborate with legal teams, business units, procurement teams and operational H&S teams
- Improve upon prequalification, requalification, and evaluation processes, providing performance data through sustainable systems that support our continuous improvement strategy
- Establish supplier onboarding processess that walk contractors through RWECE's HSSE management system expectations regarding competence, maturity, planning, support, operational controls, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Develop and deploy associated systems, tools, and dashboards to manage HSSE Contractor Performance across the RWECE Procurement organizations
- Establish tools and reporting for Procurement teams in order to equip them with HSSE data for contractor business review sessions
- Serve as an HSSE Program liaison for contractor outreach, communications, and the management of performance improvement plans as needed

Pay range : The annual base salary range for this position in Illinois is $108,000 - $161,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
