The Salesforce Technical Architect, Business Applications will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that support RWE Clean Energy's strategic goals. The Technical Architect will work closely with stakeholders, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure that the requirements are clear, feasible, and aligned with the business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, strong technical skills, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with various stakeholders. Responsible for establishing overall architecture, integration, and data model standards for the Salesforce program. The applicant must have the ability to perform tasks independently and / or with minimum guidance, and to take a leadership role in the software development life cycle to ensure project tasks are completed. This includes business use case analysis, designing or selecting the application, stakeholder communication, testing the application, deploying and documenting the solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders across RWE operating companies to formulate and implement a strategy for the Salesforce platform
- Work closely with business leaders, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of Salesforce solutions with business objectives
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical team members
- Oversee and advise all Salesforce development across the program, ensuring designs and solution meet Salesforce best practice and platform
- Lead the development and customization of Salesforce applications including Apex, Visualforce, Lightening components, Mulesoft, and integrations
- Review and provide sign-off on proposed Salesforce data model and security updates
- Mentor and guide junior developers and administrators, serving as lead developer, fostering a culture of learning and growth
- Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions that support our renewable energy initiatives
- Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight for Salesforce projects, ensuring best practices and optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions
- Translate functional business requirements into technical designs and development work items necessary to begin development work by proposing high-level solutions based on best-fit Salesforce capabilities
- Establish overall architecture, integration, and data model standards for the Salesforce program
- Develop and execute the overall deployment and data migration plan for each Production release
- Develop integration architecture and ERDs to support Salesforce data flows with other systems
- Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce features, tools, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation
QUALIFICATIONS :
Pay range : The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $92,000 - $137,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
