Float LPN

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings such as medical offices, and outpatient care. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the nursing and clinical teams and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Duties

• Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Assist with telephone triage, medication/procedure prior authorizations, processing of disability/FMLA insurance forms.
• Assist physicians and Medical Assistants with day to day intake of rooming patients, chaperoning, cleaning and setting up exam rooms.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately using Athena EHR.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive OBGYN patient management.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
• Educate patients and families on health management and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in medical office, and or outpatient settings preferred.
• Proficient in electronic medical records.
• Familiarity with OBGYN/Women's Health is preferable.
• Understanding of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism.
