The Vice President of Insurance and Risk Management will lead a comprehensive program encompassing property, casualty, liability, and workers' compensation insurance, as well as captive insurance company management. This role involves strategic planning, policy development, claims administration, and risk mitigation initiatives to ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety, while maintaining financial stability and operational integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing and managing property, casualty, and liability insurance programs
- Developing and implementing risk mitigation plans
- Collaborating with senior leadership to foster a culture of safety and compliance
- Providing leadership and direction to the risk management team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in risk management and insurance
- Proven track record of leadership in a multi-hospital system or large healthcare organization
