Responsibilities:
- Create detailed analysis of financial data, FTEs, charges, stats, and reconciliations.
- Analyze data for opportunities across the system.
- Assist department heads to research budget variances and with plans to offset.
- Work with various department heads to gain financial operations understanding and create coherent reporting and communications.
- Identify, research, and provide recommendations for resolution to any accounting issues.
- Routinely review vendor statements for accurate recording of outstanding balances and work with AP/purchasing to resolve discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in professional accounting, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- The ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group of business professionals at all levels of the organization.
