Job Overview:
The Lead APP for neurosurgery is responsible for clinical leadership, operational management and professional development of APPs within the neurosurgery dept.
Job Requirements:
- Masters prepared in Nursing from an accredited program
- Advanced Practice Nurse License via the New Jersey State Board of Nursing
- Maintain National Certification AANP or ANCC
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey
- CDS and DEA license
- BLS and ACLS.

Essential Functions:
- This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care while optimizing APP workflows,
- Monitors APPs productivity and workload distribution
- promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and driving quality improvement initiatives .
- APP Supervision, oversees recruitment, onboarding, training and mentorship of new APPs .
- Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback and facilitates professional growth .
- Operational Workflow, collaborate with neurosurgeons and hospital leadership to optimize scheduling, coverage and workload distribution
- Quality Improvement and Research
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
