Job Overview:

Required Certifications and Licenses:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating.
- Current New Jersey RN license is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required. (American Heart Association Only)
- Completion of all Orientation requirements of Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
- Must have a minimum 3 years of periop experience, OR experience perferred
- EPIC experience preferred
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full time Days
- Monday-Friday
- 8am-4pm
Essential Functions: (including but not limited to:)
- Assists OR Manager with the creation of staff schedules as needed,
- Organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients in the operating room,
- Participates in staff orientation about appropriate documentation,
- Participates in unit performance improvement evaluation initiatives,
- Takes charge as needed
