Job Overview:
NBIMC Assistant Vice President, Neurosciences serves as an active member of the Neuroscience Service Line s management leadership team focused on the 3 hospitals within the Northern Region, and expanding their Neuroscience Capabilities,
The position is based out of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center with the majority of the focus and role dedicated to building a destination Neurosciences Center for the hospital which will then extend programmatically and strategically to Trinitas Medical Center and RWJ Rahway Hospital The AVP role will report directly to both the COO at NBIMC and Senior Vice President RWJBH Neuroscience Service Line,
Today the Neuroscience Service Line SVP, Hospital Administration Tams, and RWJBH Medical Group all work closely together to strengthen and grow Neuroscience services provided to our patients by employed, academic, and independent Neurologists and Neurosurgeons,
As a result, there is a great deal of overlap in the work the service line team does to manage Neuroscience services across the health system,
In general, the following summarizes how these leaders work together to achieve the strategic and operating goals of the service line at NBIMC, RWJRH, and TRMC,
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field,
- Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible management experience associated with Neuroscience services and/or medical practice management with an emphasis on program development, financial management and performance improvement,
Preferred:
- Master s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field and/or clinical background is preferred,
Scheduling Requirements:
- Shift working, 9:00 5:00 each day
- Days to work
- FT
