Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Vice President Perioperative and Perinatal Services for RWJ Somerset Medical Center.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing required.
- Current New Jersey RN Licensure
- BLS required. (American Heart Association)
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting is required
- Additional clinical or leadership experience in perinatal care is preferred
- Certification: National certification in an applicable clinical specialty is required
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full Time 40 hours per week
Essential Functions:
- Staff includes Directors, RN's, CNA's & Unit Secretaries.
- AVP will oversee the staffing, budget & quality measures
- An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ Somerset
- Responsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care
This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
